Hello, my name is Chris Marino and I am an HR Director for Tetra Tech. I primarily lead and support Tetra Tech's Power operation in the Greater Toronto Area, while also supporting Tetra Tech's Energy Engineering businesses throughout North America. 

Marilyn Crawford is a Senior Human Resources Specialist at WalterFedy Inc. since 2022, and has over 25 years of HR experience in the consulting engineering industry.   Marilyn holds a CHRL designation and is a certified practitioner of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator®.

Marilyn has been an active member of the EHRA since 2008 and has held many different roles.

Alex acts as an HR Advisor at McElhanney Ltd. Established in 1910, McElhanney is an employee-owned company that provides surveying, engineering, GIS & remote sensing, community & transportation planning, landscape architecture, environmental services, and more across 30 locations within Western Canada. Alex's experience spans across talent acquisition and talent management strategies, wellbeing and employee relations. In her role she collaborates with numerous internal clients and business groups, where she is a trusted advisor bringing people and ideas together, while looking for opportunities to enhance the employee experience.

Alex holds her Certified Professional Human Resources (CPHR) designation and is a graduate from the British Columbia Institute of Technology. Alex is excited to act as the BC Regional Co-Director, creating opportunities to learn, connect and share  how we are supporting our organizations strategic goals through our people.

Mindy Peryk has been working within the Engineering industry as an HR professional for over 15 years, currently in the role of HR Manager, Canada for Bantrel Co. based in Calgary, Alberta. She has been involved with the EHRA for many years including former BOD role of Secretary. 

VP, People and Culture at Aercoustics Engineering Limited, Karen is a is a seasoned Human Resources, talent management, and learning development professional with 16 years of experience in People and Culture related fields.

Originally from the UK, Karen is a driven leader and change agent, with a passion for empowering individuals, communities, and organizations through exceptional HR practices. Karen started her career as a high school teacher and moved into HR through interesting career twists, this also included over two years in Risk Management and a year and a half in Marketing. During Karen’s time in HR she has designed multi-year people strategies, built comprehensive skills and capabilities assessments, career navigation tools, led succession planning, developed and evaluated compensation structures, employee engagement programs, and recruitment and retention strategies.

Karen and her husband take community engagement seriously and started KidsCan Charity in 2016. KidsCan removes barriers for children and youth so they can play, create, build, and flourish.
